The idea for Splitflask came from a simple daily challenge I faced as a NICU nurse: I could only bring one drink container to work. This rule often forced me to choose between my morning coffee and staying hydrated with water throughout my shift. My husband noticed the trail of half-finished Starbucks lattes I’d leave in the car, and he realized the waste wasn’t just about the coffee—it was about having to choose between two essentials because of workplace rules.

Seeing my frustration, we envisioned a solution: a flask that could hold both hot and cold drinks at the same time. With this, I wouldn’t have to sacrifice my coffee for water or the other way around. That’s how Splitflask was born—a simple yet innovative answer to a problem many of us face, designed to make life just a little bit easier.
